Who We Serve
The Virtuous Women Life Academy’s (VWLA) mission is to encourage women of all walks of life to reach their highest potential.
How We Serve
The journey begins by reminding women of “Who God Says They Are”, this builds their esteem as they learn to better understand their uniqueness through spiritual and personality assessments. Women then explore how they may use their gifts, talents, and abilities to make a positive impact in our society as an individual, wife, mother, and community servant.
The women develop a 90-Day Purpose Driven Action Plan and to begin long range future plans by identifying education, employment, and/or entrepreneurship options to consider. Mentees are offered financial literacy, time management and other life skill coaching.
VWLA also introduces techniques on how to reduce stress by pressing through past guilt, pain, blame and shame while moving forward to improve values, choices, and relationships. VWLA provides referrals for professional mental health, domestic violence, substance abuse and transitional housing for women in need.
Why We Serve
The Servants (Facilitators) of the VWLA Mission strive to walk the talk and be the example of what mentees are encouraged to do in their lives.
VWLA Mentors have experienced and/or are experiencing the challenges of life (marriage, divorce, blended families, single parenting, co-parenting, loss of loved ones, work-life balance, self-worth, time management, achieving financial peace, etc.) and can relate and share how to overcome tough life experiences with confidence in God (Godfidence). The VWLA Curriculum is a Christ-centered structure and is based on frequent mentee and mentor evaluations.
VWLA is focused on helping women “to fish” versus “giving them a fish” with a commitment to positively influence the minds and hearts of the women throughout the journey.
